The Outdoor Office Olympics is an outdoor sports extravaganza bringing the Olympics to your teams this year!

OUTDOOR OFFICE OLYMPICS

Planning a Corporate Away Day or Team Building Day can be tricky when you’re trying to think of ways to keep your team entertained. Outdoor Office Olympics is the perfect event to get everyone outside, taking part in some healthy competition!

The Olympics might only come around every four years but this activity is ready to go all year round. Your outdoor space will be transformed into a sports arena fit for the Olympics with different activity stations to take part in.

Groups will be split into teams and given a country to represent. The Opening Ceremony will get everyone warmed up and ready to go before entering the Athletics Arena. Here, teams will compete in head to head races inspired by Olympic events such as the following –

GAMES MAY INCLUDE

  • Skipping
  • Horse-Racing
  • Hockey
  • Tennis

After the Athletics Arena comes the Team Sport Tournaments. Teams will compete in 5 minute mini games of Football and Volleyball and work together to beat the opposing countries.

Once the games have concluded, the parade of flags will take place and winners will be announced in the closing ceremony. Teams will be awarded medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively!

6. Event Management
Looking to elevate your event experience? Use us for event management and we can look to organise DJ’s, Caterers, Photobooth, Branding, etc.

VENUE REQUIREMENTS

  • A large, flat, outdoor space with access to power
  • We require approx. half a football pitch of flat area, however, smaller groups may require less space. The surface must be suitable for a sporting activity with no obstacles or uneven ground that could cause injury.
  • If you provide your own venue and we are unable to run your activity due to health and safety (above requirements not met) there will be no refund.

NEED TO KNOW

  • This activity is best suited for a minimum of 20 people and a maximum of 160 people
  • This is an outdoor only activity
  • Time may vary depending on group size, but is roughly 1-2.5 hours

    What is included in the Outdoor Office Olympics?

    We include all activity equipment including inflatables! An enthusiastic host will run the proceedings assisted by experiences event coordinators. To keep the energy up, there will be music and a PA system and for the winners, medals will be provided!

    Do we need a venue for Outdoor Office Olympics?

    Yes, as Outdoor Office Olympics is an outdoor venue, you are required to have an outdoor venue with a large, flat open space (approximately half a football pitch) with no uneven ground or obstacles. The team will also require access to power to inflate any equipment.

    How long does Outdoor Office Olympics last for?

    Duration of the event does depend on your group size however, we say to allow approximately two hours for the event which will include a briefing, warm up, activity and winners presentation

    Is Outdoor Office Olympic suitable my Team Building event or Corporate Away Day?

    Yes absolutely! Outdoor Office Olympics includes activity stations so you can split into teams and compete against each other. The aim of the game is to earn coloured rings at each station and the team with the most coloured rings wins! This event is designed to encourage fun and competition and is an elevated twist on the popular team building event Old School Sports Day.
